God Pursues You With Love

There’s nothing you can do, and no place where you can go, where God’s love doesn’t pursue and meet you there.

God’s love knows no bounds. No matter where you are, and no matter how you may feel, whether good or bad, God is there. You can’t get away, nor can you chase away God’s unconditional love for you.

This was at the heart of what King David said,

“You have hedged me behind and before, and laid Your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain it. Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into heaven, You are there; if I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there.” (Psalm 139:5-8 NKJV)

While the Lord cares about what you do, and is deeply hurt when you sin, He will still love you and will always love you. And He demonstrates just how far He will go to pursue you with His love.

“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8 NKJV)

Even when you were His enemy, living apart and separate from Him, God loved you. God loves you even through the highest highs and the lowest lows, and that’s because nothing can separate you from His love.

“For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:38-39 NKJV)

And so when you feel like you’ve blown it and are feeling as if God can in no way love you, know that God still loves you and in His unconditional love towards you He is pursuing you and His love relationship with you.
