“Our spiritual journey is analogous to Dorothy’s journey in the “Wizard of Oz” by Frank Baum.

“The journey we’re on from this world to God’s heavenly home, we need what the three characters with Dorothy discovered within themselves: the Scarecrow’s wisdom, the Tin Man’s love and compassion, and the Lion’s courage. We need these characteristics because we constantly face and battle with Satan, our own Wicked Witch of the West.”
